Charter Arrival Policy
Many large commercial airlines charter their aircraft and flight crews out to vacation clubs and travel organizations. When this happens although you are flying on a well-known and reputable airline, the charter flights is actually operated by an outside entity (Charter Company).
Most charter flights arriving in Boston originate in the Southern United States, its territories or the Caribbean. Charter flights operate on their own schedule and are not required to adhere to a fixed flight time. The result is that many charter flights do not arrive on time, and are sometimes delayed by several hours.
Charter companies that arrange these flights do not staff their telephones 24 hours a day and they most often do not provide accurate arrival times. Usually when Chauffeured Services International, L.L.C. telephones the Charter Company trying to get a flight update, an answering machine is reached, rather than live customer service representatives. These machines will provide a prerecorded message indicating a flight arrival time that may be incorrect by several hours. Further, these recordings cannot inform Chauffeured Services International, L.L.C. about changes in flight numbers, changes in flight schedules, or extra stops in intermediate cities which may not have been planned. When this happens Chauffeured Services International, L.L.C. has no way to determine what flight a client is on, what city the flight is stopping in, and what time the flight is projected to arrive!
Tracking and waiting for Charter flights can be challenging and time consuming. To cover the additional expense of time involved to be present when a client lands, we charge an additional $25.00 above beyond the normal vehicle rate to meet a charter flight. This rate will keep the car at the airport for your arrival commencing with the most updated and accurate flight arrival time, which Chauffeured Services International, L.L.C. can procure that day.
Policies and Procedures are subject to change without notice. Rates do not include a customary 20% gratuity for the chauffeur.
Thank you for your patronage and your understanding. |
